Trine Bohnsdalen from Norway has always had the passion for horses and exploring her surroundings. This led her early out in the world where her main goal was to learn more about different ways of training horses. She then started to capture her experiences with a camera and the fascinating world of photography soon became her passion.
After working with horses in Australia, Norway and the US, she had time to develop her photographing skills further. By being involved with horses herself, she has an extra advantage when taking equine photographs.
Trine has worked as a freelance photographer in the US and Norway. She has taken pictures at events such as the FEI World Cup Finals in Las Vegas, Cheyenne Frontier Days in Wyoming, Extreme Cowboy Race Championship in Missouri, as well as Oslo Horse Show and Arctic Equestrian Games in Norway.
Trine finds her most interesting motives in the working ranch environment. but also likes the creativity involved in taking a good and special portrait picture. With each picture she takes, her understanding of composition, light and her ability to "see" a good picture, grows. She has attended several photo-workshops and always look forward to the next one.
Trine is currently located in Delta, CO, and when she is not out photographing, she starts colts and trains horses.
